  1. @yanisvaroufakis has been trying to explain to the Brits and all that they really haven’t had austerity measures employed in their states, but to no avail.
    What we see mostly here in the US is that governments try to replace government workers (road construction and such) with lowest bid contracts (usual given to cronies and increasingly no-bid) who do such shitty work that it all has to be redone regularly creating more work for the private companies and worse service for the rest of us, hardly a vital form of capitalism to say the least.
